Sea Point, with it’s history of being the place for Atlantic Seaboard holiday flats and apartments, has come a long way.  The coastline from the waterfront, along Mouille Point, past the Lighthouse and along the Seapoint promenade is quite an attractive broad promenade for sunset strolls.   The Sea Point promenade starts just below this Bantry bay accommodation and stretches almost all the way to the Victoria and Albert waterfront.

A favourite place to jog, roller blade or just hang out and watch the surfers near Mouille Point, wondering how they stay off the rocks.   Take a late afternoon stroll before sunset – find a park bench or seaside eating spot and be seated before the sun goes down to enjoy the spectacle.

Wafu and wakame restaurants are great places to do that and to see and be seen!

Some sights along the promenade are the Seapoint swimming pools – the pavillion building is the focus of many artistic photographs, Graaf’s pool, green point markets
